Process 21

I have created a dual photographic artwork inspired by Stonehenge, employing two unique processes. On one side, I utilized soil chromatography, extracting pigments from earth samples collected from the bottom of my boots during my visit to Stonehenge. On the other side, I employed a photochromic emulsion derived from plant life thriving on the outskirts of Stonehenge. These two distinct elements were processed simultaneously in the darkroom, combining the essence of the soil from beneath with the artistic interpretation captured by the photographic enlarger from above.
